Evaluate Your Beliefs

 



Every person maintains a set of beliefs that are unique to that person. Some of these beliefs have come right from childhood either from family members or from relatives or society. Family and friends play a crucial role in shaping the belief system of an individual. Religious institutions also play a role in building the belief system of an individual. Here I am not going much into the religious belief system because these are left to the individual's choices and preferences. 

 

There are a lot of people who believe that life just happens to them. A lot of things happen unexpectedly without notice. Such people are left totally controlled by the sequence of events that happen in life without having a say or an explanation for the happenings in their life. They believe in luck, misfortunes and other things that decide their course of life. They try to get along with negative-minded people so easily. They see the negatives that happen in life very easily. 

 

Then there is another set of people who believe that life happens for them. They believe that they decide how they want their life to be. They are the creators of their life. Certain events happen according to what they have planned. They attract what they want in life. These people also have intuitive powers and they can sense when something is happening. They plan and architect how they want their life to be and take actions to implement them. They don't postpone things indefinitely without any reason. They maintain the right beliefs every time and see to it that they move closer and closer to where they want to reach in life.

Realize the infinite powers that are there within you. Know that you have the power to decide your life. As Paulo Coelho once said: When you really want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.

Can you sustain your beliefs?




We are what we believe is a popular statement that we hear every time. The kind of person that we are now is because of the beliefs that we had been carrying with us for all these years. The kind of a future that we would have going forward is also determined by the kind of thoughts that we maintain and nurture within ourselves in our present moment. So this looks easy right? But can we sustain our beliefs at all times? That is the biggest challenge. Let us look more into this. 

 

 

Suppose I affirm to myself every day that I am a fluent and confident speaker. But then during my day when I get an opportunity to speak, I hesitate to speak and thereby decline the opportunity that I get. So here I am going against what I am supposed to believe. Let us look at another example. Suppose a person affirms that he is a happy person but then every day he enters into some arguments with his colleagues on a specific sensitive topic and gets emotionally low. So here also this person is going against his beliefs of being a happy person. Practicing affirmations helps a person to change their thinking to a specific desired result. But the person should feel it within himself on what he is affirming. He should believe in it and trust it to the fullest. By doing so, he would observe small changes happening every day that brings him closer and closer to his reality. However, if a person mechanically utters some affirmations without focusing on what he is actually saying then these statements would have very less impact on his mind. Even worse is when he encounters situations that are opposite to what he actually affirms and he starts participating in them without being mindful and realizing what he is actually doing. 

 

Listing down our goals and working towards them every day is a very good way to get closer and closer to where we want to reach. It is not necessary that we need to practice Affirmations for many hours each day. This is not possible for anyone since there are a lot of worldly tasks that every person needs to take care of every day. However, practicing for a few minutes every day and believing in what we are looking to achieve by living in that moment is a better way to reach the point where we actually desire to be.

Cause and Effect

 




We understand that we humans face different events and situations in life. Right from our childhood to our present moment, there have innumerable situations that we have faced and witnessed. As we interact with our environment through our senses, we see the world from our perspective. The manner in which one person encounters a situation could be different from how another person handles it. 

 

When we speak in terms of energy, every action or event that we see in this world is a result of an energy manifestation that takes its form after a series of small energy vibrations that happen knowingly and unknowingly. There are numerous examples that we can think of and explain to come to this conclusion.  

 

The planet Earth is now able to sustain life forms due to the effort of certain celestial activities that spanned millions of years. The effect of the sun's energy on the earth. The effect of the moon and other planets of the solar system on the Earth. The internal physical, chemical and biological processes that occurred within the planet Earth. All these factors contributed to the current state of this blue planet called Earth.  

 

An athlete wins a competition after years of practice and hard work. A person gets a job after going through years of studies, tests and exams. An Author publishes a book after days and months of thinking, writing, editing, formatting etc. So the ultimate result is a series of small actions and events that finally help to produce the end result. Some people argue that certain events happen in life due to luck. If a person gets selected for something, it means that that person has the required skills and has worked hard for it in the background for many days or months, or even years. Another reason could be that the Universe would want to assign that role to this person and so he is selected. Does that mean that the person who did not get selected didn't try hard or is not wanted? Not always, but it could mean that the person is not ready yet to get assigned to this role. This failure would be needed to educate that person on where he stands or what more he needs to do. Or it could be that his efforts are wanted somewhere else that is more important than the current one.  

 

The result of an event need not be purely decided by 1 person or a single factor. There can be numerous other factors and reasons that work in the hidden background that is invisible to the eyes of the witness. The easiest thing that a person can do is to work on his skills and experience and take action whenever necessary.

Introduction to a 24-Hour Healing System

 


Everyone has unique ways to stay healthy, and active and to heal themselves. Some people focus on their food, others on their daily exercises, while others focus on controlling their thoughts, habits and emotions. As long as we take one or more steps on a daily basis to ensure that we take care of ourselves then we are doing well. But do you know that your mind control and exercises only span for a few hours each day? What do you do for the remaining time of the day? Do you still engage in activities that uplift yourself physically, mentally and emotionally? Sometimes we see people do their daily exercises for 1 hour and then involve in other activities that can affect them in a negative way. Since we are living in a competitive world, there can be scenarios in life where we have to play our roles according to people's expectations and get things done for others' benefit and for our survival. In the process, we may be left feeling tired, emotionally down, less energetic, or even drained off.  

 

So how do we ensure that we stay positive with full of energy throughout our day? This is an easy question to be asked but is it easy to fulfill? Can we remain in a positive frame of mind throughout the day and even in our sleep? Is it that easy to achieve this? The answer is Yes. But it also requires our interest, passion and discipline towards achieving that. Another question that can be asked is whether it is really necessary to stay positive at all times in our life. Is it humanely possible to be so? Yes, it is not easy for anyone to be positive at all times. But our health, situations and events speak for themselves when we do well in life and that is how we come to know that we are on the right track. Let us look at some of the ways by which we can achieve a holistic approach to our well-being in the coming posts.
